Taking place during Expo 2020 Dubai’s water week (March 20th to 26th), the conference on the challenges and opportunities of transboundary rivers will bring together experts from Guinea, the Niger Basin Authority, the European Union, Costa Rica, the Mekong region and the Middle East. Together they will discuss on the unique features of transboundary rivers and how to best address the challenges associated with climate change to promote a more sustainable management of these water bodies, while allowing the various countries to reap benefits from the opportunities of these rivers.
